THE COUCH OUTLOUD® is a Gold Coast based, entertaining live talk show which inspires social connectivity and aims to encourage meaningful connections and conversations by showcasing inspiring locals from a range of backgrounds. We understand the value of how the creative element of our community helps to underpin our connections with each other through artistic expression.

Together with our host and DJ, The Couch Outloud® guest speakers and performers share with the audience their stories of how they are effecting societal change and empowering others.  This platform not only provides the community with a voice and insight into topics that affect them, but also leads the way for future cultural evolvement.

ARTISTIC REALM UNEARTHED show

Art is all around us and plays an important part in society. It is a narrative of self-expression and observation for others.  Self-expression allows us all to contribute to arts culture within our community, strengthen deeper connections and create a cultural well-being.

The major cultural shift on the Gold Coast that had been evolving pre-2020, is still heading in the right direction.  However, there is still the perception that there is an absence of a depth and richness within the arts culture on the Gold Coast.

There is such diverse creativity and multitude of creatives who have so much to offer, but are struggling to find a platform to connect with supporters and audiences.

The time is NOW to bring to the surface local creatives who will share their stories and showcase their talents.  We are here to support our vibrant Arts and Entertainment communities to bounce back with strength and gusto.

Host: Suzi Dent

Suzi helps women and men connect with themselves and their dreams by introducing them to the power of YES.  Her high energy and humour is infectious and you will leave feeling uplifted, inspired and ready to meet any challenge head on.  Not only that, in 2017 Suzi won the title of Mrs Earth Australia which is awarded to the delegate who best represents a positive image for all women.

Co-Host & DJ: Sean Harcourt-Bell

Sean has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years. He is a performer and musician who has travelled the world sharing his talents as well as being a support act for many well-known bands.  Sean is an all-rounder who always shares his great enthusiasm and energy.

Brooklyn Connelly

Brooklyn is an artist and creative influencer who is passionate about identity and finding expression in all its forms which has led her to explore a diverse range of topics and mediums.  Brooklyn’s art comes from her heart.  Recently connecting with her indigenous culture as well as a spiritual connection after the passing of her father, Brooklyn’s art continues to evolve.

Ash Perrow

Ash is a multi-award winning songwriter and performer who knows how to get to the heart.  His engaging performances take audiences on a journey of insightful penmanship, reflection, joy and musical expression.  Overcoming adversity from a near-death experience has lead Ash to change his life and how he sees his time on this planet.  This life-changing experience has influenced Ash to help and guide others to step into their dreams.

Teresa Franks

Teresa comes from a long line of artists and proudly states that, “Art is in my blood.”  She is a multi-faceted artist able to craft her art through disparate mediums including airbrushing, acrylics and illustrations. Teresa is well renowned for her surrealistic art projecting strong messages of inspiration, empowerment and metamorphosis.  Teresa’s incredible energy is contagious and her art pieces speak from the soul.

Court “Caughtz” Muldoon

Caughtz has been a major influencer in the development of Gold Coast hip-hop culture since the 1990’s.  He still has a strong connection with evolving artists and supports the digital platforms that are currently utilised to promote what the Gold Coast has to offer. Not only will Caughtz be discussing the totality of this genre, he will also be performing for you.
