SAFEPOWER SAFETY SYSTEMS
Under Australian and New Zealand Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) legislation, employers now have a duty of care to implement procedures for the safety inspection and testing of low voltage single phase and poly phase, ( eg 240V and 415V ) electrical equipment.
To discharge your duty of care you are required to take the necessary action needed to reduce the risk of any persons in the workplace receiving electrical shock from faulty equipment. To achieve this your tools, portable equipment, leads or appliances should be tested and then tagged on a regular basis.
The SafePower√ Service
Our qualified technicians will do a visual inspection so as to identify any faults. Electrical tests are then completed on a portable appliance tester ( P.A.T ).
If the appliance/lead passes the visual and electrical tests then it is tagged with a SafePower√ tag. If it fails any stage of the testing process our technician will then consult with you as to the process required to repair or dispose of the electrical item.
After the testing and tagging has been completed’ our clients are provided with an asset register detailing the appliances and leads tested and the results achieved.
SafePower√ offers the following services:
Testing & Tagging of all 240V electrical appliances.
Testing of exit lights.
Residual current device testing.
Microwave leakage testing.
3 Phase power testing.
A free reminder service to our clients for their next test date.
A detailed asset register is issued to our clients on completion of the work at no charge.
At SafePower√ we don’t believe that you should be charged an hourly rate, We also don’t believe in charging you for traveling costs, and we certainly do not charge you for the asset register., we only charge you a flat fee per tag.
