Final opportunity to see the exhibition of over 40 pieces of colonial style Georgian Glass in beautiful Grossmann House, with its fully restored interior of the 1870 Victorian era and glorious heritage rose garden. These rare and delicate items date from 1700 – 1840 and include candlesticks, serving ware, wine glasses and much more, can be viewed, along with a one hour COVID-safe tour of the house. Entry $10 Adult; $8 Concession and child over 5, National Trust members free. Home-baked refreshments will be available to enjoy in the peaceful gardens of this lovely estate. Bookings on Eventbrite or walk-ins also welcome.
Neighbouring Brough House, the twin building to Grossmann House, is also open with a display of local sporting history “Winning isn’t Everything” for a small (at the door) entrance fee of $5.00 for adults. This display has been put together by the Maitland Regional Museum and Museum of Clothing.
