Grossmann House Maitland Open House Day

The National Trust’s historic Grossmann House, Church Street, Maitland will be open to the public on Sunday 11th July.  Hear the history as you are guided through this stately mid-Victorian house museum.  Our Textiles Room has a colonial Indian theme and features an 1850’s stunning hand-made, richly embroidered muslin wedding dress and veil along with an 1840’s men’s Banyan morning gown.  QR code sign-in and masks indoors essential.  One-hour tours begin at 10:30.  Bookings at Eventbrite, $10 per person, $8 concession, National Trust members free.  Pay at the door also welcome.  Enquiries grossmann@nationaltrust.com.au
