The market is to re-launch on Easter Sunday 4th April with a new operator, Cambridge Markets and a focus on locally made and sourced products.

There will be delicious fresh food and wine, handmade goods, arts and crafts and quality second hand goods.  The markets will bring the best of the region and surrounding areas to Maitland for locals and tourists alike to enjoy.

Cambridge Markets operate markets all over Sydney, from Watsons Bay, to Ryde and Cronulla. Run by market experts, Rebecca Fox and Madelienne Anderson, the ethos of the  markets is to giving the community an enjoyable day out together with family and friends. You can enjoy some lovely food, find that hidden treasure or beautiful gift or just wander and enjoy a chat with the locals.

Cambridge Markets is also thrilled to have the Slow Food Movement present with their volunteers who represent farmers from the area, selling their huge variety of fresh produce at the market in a one-stop shop.

Maitland Showground is a great site, with ample outdoor space to spread out and accommodate Covid safe procedures. It also accommodates a large amount of parking.

There will be rides and activities for kids, live music and much more. Easter Sunday is a day for family and friends and so why not enjoy a a great day out wandering, shopping and eating together. The market will continue monthly, on the first Sunday of the month.
