Step back in time this Mothers' Day!    Treat your Mum to a one-hour guided tour of the elegant, historic Grossmann House at Maitland.  This is one of a pair of mirror-image two-storey, modern mid-Victorian brick houses built in fashionable Church Street for two very successful merchants trading in Maitland.  The house museum has been re-furbished and furnished as closely as possible to the original style.  Grossmann House also became the site of the first Girls' High School in Maitland and one room has been dedicated to reflect this important part of the history of the house.  Sessions begin at 10:30 - bookings essential on Eventbrite of phone Holly on 4933 3330.   Prices $10 adults, $8.00 concession, National Trust members and children under 5 free.
