At All Pest, the health and well being of our clients and staff is our highest priority. In light of the recent Coronavirus pandemic, we are taking measures to protect our clients and our staff from coming into contact with the virus. And so, As part of our endeavours to mitigate the risk of exposure, we have implemented the following pre-engagement questionnaire to help us assess the risks. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding and seek your support in any decision made by us to postpone your service.
1. Have you, or, anyone who resides in your home, returned from overseas in the last 14 days?
2. Have you, or, anyone who resides in your home, been subject to self-isolation requirements in the
past 14 days?
3. In the past 14 days have you, or anyone who resides in your home, suffered from any of these
symptoms:
a. Cold or Flu symptoms; and/or
b. Cough; and/or
c. Fever or High Temperature; and/or
d. Difficulty breathing.
4. Do you have any hesitations or concerns around the technician’s health and or safety, or, your health and safety, if he/she enters your home to perform work?
Arrival / Greetings - Procedures for our technicians:
Upon arrival – hand sanitise, apply nitrile gloves, santise them. Proceed to door.
Remain 2m back from customer. Do not shake hands or make bodily contact.
Greet customer and explain you are required to complete screening questions etc. Explain precautions and social distancing requirements.
If customer has illnesses, is self isolating, has a belief they have COVID-19 terminate service and have office contact for further.
Advice if unsatisfactory answers given if a person answers yes to any question the technician should advise the client that due to health and safety
concerns and company policy they will not be able to complete services internally on this occasion.
Refer job back to office will call to confirm this and arrange another suitable date / time. At least 14 days time.
Nb: symptoms, illnesses etc should have completely vanished for a full 14 days before reconsidering sending a technician.
Services that can still proceed external sprays / treatments may proceed in circumstances where no contact needs to be made with client or potentially contaminated surfaces. This particularly applies to door handles, switches, gates, letterboxes etc.
Examples: External GP spray, possum exclusion, flea/tick external, snake removal etc.
At all times exercise caution. Keep good hygiene. Wash hands before departure from every job and at least hourly.
If completing external only - Explain to client can complete external if they remain inside with all doors and windows closed. Advise logistical considerations around paperwork, contact etc. Do no treat if considered to
be too difficult or too risky.
If completing external only treatment leave client paperwork in letterbox or under door or email all paperwork.
If necessary, make client contact by telephone to discuss. Even if they are inside and you are outside. Might seem strange but easier to avoid exposure / risk.
