Karen Scott Murals and Pet Portraits

I have had many different careers in my life within the Art and fashion industries, and taught Visual Arts, Photography and Ceramics for nearly 21 years before starting my own small business in 2014: Karen Scott Murals. I paint custom Pet Portraits and Murals, I create Pet Sculptures and paint Pet Stones and Vintage Saws.

As a mother of one to my Dalmatian Sophie, I am definitely inspired by my love for dogs and all other animals. I live in the beautiful Martinsville valley in Lake Macquarie, NSW, right at the foot of the Watagan Mountains NP. It is just the most serene setting and every day I see a parade of wildlife passing by my house, or making themselves quite at home in my hillside garden! How can I not be inspired by such an idyllic setting?

I feel so blessed to be able to do something I am passionate about and to run my own business – something very few people get to experience!
