All the favourites were there.. Slim Dusty, Smoky Dawson and The McKean Sisters, but a new line up of golden guitar winners had arrived

Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jefferys and James Blundell were among the new stars of Australian country music. Thousands made the pilgrimage to the Country Music Capital. Buskers on Peel Street kept crowds entertained.

And big crowds, meant big support for Australian Country Music. Lee Kernaghan won a record four Golden Guitars back in 1994. Natasha Beyersdorf caught up with him 30 years later, in January of this year.
